ABBY&FINN offers diapers, wipes through a flexible subscription platform
July 31, 2018
By: Tara Olivo
Associate Editor at Nonwovens Industry
ABBY&FINN, a new ultra-flexible diaper subscription company with a give back model, announced the availability of its hypoallergenic diapers through a delivery platform that enables greater degrees of freedom and personalization. To fulfill its mission of giving back, ABBY&FINN is committed to donating a Diaper-a-Day for every subscriber to one of its well-established partner non-profit organizations across the United States. The company intends to disrupt the diaper subscription market with its affordability, flexibility, and high-quality, environmentally-friendly products. In early 2016, Amanda and Lance Little teamed up with Kyle and Matt Anderson to solve a problem all parents know well: they were paying too much for diapers, and their babies kept outgrowing their subscriptions. They thought there had to be a more affordable, eco-friendly solution that truly grew with their babies and delivered diapers right to parents’ doorsteps. The dual husband-wife teams set out to create ABBY&FINN, and as they learned more about the diaper industry, they were surprised at how many families couldn’t afford to diaper their babies. Amanda Little, co-founder, ABBY&FINN, says, “As parents, we were shocked to learn that one-third of families in the U.S. cannot afford diapers. We then made it our mission to reduce impact and mitigate need using the platform we had created at ABBY&FINN. To date, we have donated more than 250,000 diapers and cannot wait to grow that number as our subscriber-base increases.” To ensure that its mission could never be trivialized, ABBY&FINN incorporated it into the company’s name. ABBY is an anagram for baby and FINN stands for “families in need.” With each monthly box subscription ordered, ABBY&FINN donates 30 diapers to families in need through partner organizations that use diapers as incentives for participating in parenting programs and child wellness exams. “Our give back model is something we’re really proud of, but just as important to us is the quality and affordability of our diapers and wipes,” says Lance Little, co-founder and CEO, ABBY&FINN. ABBY&FINN’s diapers offer high absorbency, superior comfort, and most importantly, no harmful chemicals or substances. Other features include:
